Наша сила в наших друзьях - там и энергия, и территория, и финансы. И без них не возможен не только Мокум, но и вся история наших жизней. И смело можно сказать, что MOKUM - это памятник упрямству и верности наших близких. Mokum значит Амстердам (на еврейском сленге) . В Петербурге Мокум значит дружбу арт-центра "МОИ "Кулуары" (Санкт-Петербург) и "NDSM treehouse" (Amsterdam). Это место международного обмена артистами и идеями. Меня зовут Майя Лилле -это моё заведение. Моего голландского партнёра зовут Marc Koolen - это его идея. Мы делаем заведение, которое вне политики и немного выше границ... Границ принятого, допустимого, привычного. У истоков стояли: Илья Лилле вся "Реставрация нравов" Майя Лилле ----------------  "MOKUM" is a special kind of cafe ... that will be full of native Dutch features.   Mokum means Amsterdam (in Jewish slang). In St. Petersburg Mokum means friendship betweem IMA "Couloirs" and " Tree house" at NDSM (Amsterdam). This is the place of multicultural exchange for artists and their ideas. My name is Maya Lille and this is my place. My Dutch partner's name is Marc Koolen  and this is his creative vision and idea. We create  an institution that is beyond politics and slightly above the boundaries ... The boundaries of the things that are allowable, acceptable and familiar.   We find our strength in our friends - their energy, their territory, and their financial support. Not only MOKUM, but the whole history of our lives wouldn't be possible without them.
